Cheryl Corbett

Certified Canine Behavioral Trainer

Cheryl loves working with all breeds of dogs and enjoys helping owners overcome a wide variety of behavioral challenges.  Specializing in behavior modification, she trains dogs with aggression or anxiety all the way down to basic obedience. She is able to interpret and find the cause of a dog’s behavior and then explain how to correct the issue in a way that the dog understands.  This approach refocuses the dog’s mind to respond positively instead of negatively to different situations and produces lasting results.

Cheryl believes patience and persistence are the keys to success with training and encourages owners to be as hands on as possible. She uses a balanced methodology without dominance or intimidation tactics as those can cause increases in aggression, fear and ruin the relationship between dog and owner. All dogs think and learn differently just like humans and she is good at finding the best way to help each dog do its best!

“Remember that every single day you live, you make some impact on the planet and you get to choose what sort of impact you make.”
